Android Mobile Application Developer

Job Responsibilities

Must have a strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, how to deal with different screen sizes and applications with complex UI and Work robustly with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Proven software development experience and Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies with a keen eagerness towards learning new technologies and updates in Android Platform.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform and Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Work with outside data sources, Restful APIs and JSON.

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Experience developing apps with multi-language support

Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
